Pathohistology

Organs and tumour samples are taken at defined time points or at the end of the experiment. Samples are preserved in 4% formalin for specific pathohistological investigation and characterisation.

Criteria: Changes in organ structure, necrosis, appearance of metastases

Pathohistology can be performed by the customer or by an external contract pathologists.

Clinical chemistry

Toxicity related parameters can be determined by external laboratories to characterise drug side effects, e.g. liver and kidney toxicity.
